Something powerful but quiet is happening in the church today. Gen Z is finding its way back into church more than any other generation. People who once walked away are choosing faith once again. They're just showing up quietly.
In this economy?
52% of Gen Z says they're in an existential crisis. The rent is up, the career isn't linear, and the relationships are ever-changing. The life they were told was coming still hasn't arrived on schedule and doesn't seem to be in sight.
Spiritual but struggling.
The faith is real, but so is the doubt. This is why we hear so much talk about reconstructing the faith for today's uncertain world. Young Christians feel as if Christian content either tries to resolve that tension unsuccessfully, or sweeps it all under the carpet.
Do we really need another Christian T-shirt brand?
Probably not, if we're talking more verses and crosses on a tee. We're not here for that. We're here to use design to name that tension many of us feel today, and gather a community which lives it everyday.
